CB Richard Ellis selected Schonsheck, Inc. to perform design-build construction services for the renovation of EDS’s 650,000 square foot facility to accommodate the relocation of 2,200 EDS employees. The project would provide several challenges due to tight deadlines, the relocation of a complex HVAC unit and the construction of a state-of-the-art computer server room with a raised floor. It was also imperative to have very minimal disruption to daily business practices for the EDS employees that were being relocated to the building during construction.
In the end, the project was a success. Schonsheck, Inc.’s unique design-build approach, experience, team work and communication, helped streamline the project allowing CB Richard Ellis and EDS to achieve all their project goals, budget and schedules.
