When Schonsheck, Inc. came on the scene, the Green Oak Township Hall was already in the design stages using the traditional method of bid/build. Fraught with project cost overruns, the building was more than half a million dollars over budget! Just as township officials were about to compromise their requirements and re-bid the project, Schonsheck, Inc. provided an un-compromised solution, assumed full responsibility, made several design changes, and brought the project back under the $1.7 million dollar budget. Schonsheck, Inc. exceeded the township’s expectations by meeting their goals for square footage, functionality, and cost.
